The car was purchased in 1996 and stripped and taken to bare metal on the frame.
Most of the chrome and stainless was redone along with the original interior that was preserved by the clear plastic seat covers and cleaning with leather cleaner.
The 264 c.i. V8 with 2bbl Stromberg carb. was rebuilt in 2005 adding a 1956 cam and 401 valve train which provided even better airflow adding more horsepower.
Duel exhaust was added as well using a short Flowmaster muffler, splitting the exit pipe and running the tailpipe infront of the differential and down the left frame rail.
The tires are Coker wide whitewall with Truespoke wire wheels using the 7 1/2 " hubcap and cutting out the center to use the stock 1955 Buick hubcap emblem looking as stock as possible.
The car has ben lowered 3" and uses stock suspension front and rear with "Air Ride" air bags in the rear coil springs adding a more stab le ride.
The car has never been trailered since we have owned the car and we drive it to all of the car shows we attend.
