This Buick was built at the South Gate plant and from what I have tracked down was first sold in San Francisco in 1955. Fast forward some 50 years into the future and quite a bit has changed in the world but not the fine craftsmanship of a car that was built to last.
It has had a new paint job by the second owner some years back ( I am the 4th ) and a new interior installed by the 3rd. It is currently having the dybaflow worked own as well as other maintenence that comes with age.
The better buy was indeed, Buick.
