Yeah, she's big and black, not the prettiest either, 1968 lesabre 4 door sedan, with 103k original miles... two summers ago i spun a rod bearing in the 350 2 bbl, or broke a rod, fuel pump went and dumped a ton of gas into the oil.... thin oil, broken parts.... oh well... i was going to pull it and rebuild the motor, but had a much better idea. Bought a used 455, tore it down to the block, and started spending money. i've got most of the main componants, intake(poston s divider), carb(eddlebrock 800 cfm), crank, pistons (11.0-1 60 over ross racing pistons), cam (poston gs 113A), have bearings, gaskets, most of the bolts i need, still need main stud kit, heh, hopefully it'll be a monster motor. Still gotta get the th 400 i got with the motor rebuilt with a switch pitch, and find a rearend. I think it'll make a cool rat rod/sled, not sure wich one to call it, cuz it's sled sized, but the motor is going to be for speed.... still also gotta redoe the front end, replace ball joints and bushings. She's still just sitting in the driveway, no hood anymore, 350 just sitting inside wating to be pulled. If anyone has some ideas for me, or comments, i'm open.
