Team Buick Show Room - 1965 Buick Special D

I am the second proud owner of this great car. It was previously owned by an elderly lady who loved it and took good care of it. She has 130700 "Grandma" miles. This is the original paint with minor scratches and chips. The "dog dish" hubcaps were removed and replaced with these wheelcovers but I would like to upgrade them to a nice stock Buick wheel someday. The interior is also original, with the exception of the steering wheel which was badly cracked. The carpet,upholstery and dash are in like new condition. What I've done with it is replaced the stock exhaust with a Magnaflow set-up and replaced the bias tires with a good set of Toyo's. It's got the original 225 V-6 that I just recently replaced the original cam with a Poston upgrade. I also replaced the lifters, valve springs and had the heads redone due to a burnt valve. I am trying to get up enough nerve to make this a daily driver but when the weather turns bad I'll probably end up parking it in the garage until the roads clear up. With my current engine mods, I took it out for a cruise on Saturday night with my wife and kids. Much to my suprise, I was challenged by two souped up imports with all the upgrades, decals and NOS and we "Blew thier doors off"! Needless to say, we pulled into into the garage with big smiles on our faces.
