Transmission question
I'm currently rebuilding a 1970 stage 1 455. When the build is complete the engine should have 415-425 hp and about 500-520 torque. What types of 4 speed transmissions would work best with this engine? Also I have a 3.73 10 bolt rear end.
Any ideas and input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Are you looking to stick with GM transmission (Muncie, Saginaw), or do you want to look at some of the modern aftermarket manual transmissions?

I was looking to stick with GM, and hopefully not spend an arm and a leg.
