Currently have 40 Ford (Resto) under construction. Has new 300 (64/65), "major overhaul", coupled to original 400 trans (also majored w/ perf. kit). Have pic's of both 300's.
I (why now) would like to replace with nailhead. My questions are these:

1. Will the 425/455 bolt into 300 mounts, and T400 without changing any of the existing mounts (everything is power coated) ????
2. I have 2 complete 300's, 1 is major rebuild (not run yet), the other is complete and ready for building (in pieces). Is there anyone who is looking for 300's ??
3. Does anyone have available a 425/455, built or builder ????

Yep, I need help. Anything will be helpful.
Best Regards
Steve

The motor mounts are not the same for the 300, 425 and 455. The 425 would require another transmission as the nailhead has a different bolt pattern then the 300, 340, 350, 400, 430 and 455. The 300, 340 and 350 share the same motor mounts and fit in place of one another.
