I need the stamped ID numbers on rearend to identify the ratio of the optinal rearend for a 52 buick special with a 3.6 to 1 ratio.

I'm looking for a 3.6 to 1 rearend ratio for my 52 Buick.. If I read the Hollander correctly it says that the third member will fit from 1941 to 1955. Could anyone else check this out? I don't want to start making mistakes in purchasing items..

The tricky part will be to get one with the correct lenth torque tube and drive shaft. It is a challange to change the drive shaft without correct tools. I have seen an economical tool for sale somewhere. The torque tube and rear housing are supposed to be a matched set, but...
