I have a 1994 Buick Century Special V6 3.1L. When I bought the car the check engine light was on. The engine runs great no sounds or anything I can't figure out what would be wrong with it. In a 1996 or higher I know that it would be easy to figure out but how do I go about it with the 1994?

obviously, the first thing to do is determine what codes have been set. try the paperclip exercise, it might still work with the 1994 models.
