'RO' is a 2v engine while 'RP' is the 4v engine. we don't have much on the casting numbers for the 350. philosphrstone 02-27-2006, 08:31 PM from the head casting #'s page on this site: 1386845 69 350 2bbl 1387069 69 350 4bbl this number is from the Buickgod website. No idea if it's accurate... 1382546 69 350 you'll find this number cast into the head by removing the valve cover(s). An odd fact that I discovered last spring is that some 71-72 skylarks were given a 1970 engine due to a surplus. I have an original 72 skylark custom 4-door sedan that has a 1970 engine (according the the numbers and the engine configuration. It was a sweet deal that became much sweeter when I discovered what I had actually aquired. Flat top pistons, lumpy cam, and 1970 (last year before smoggers) heads! |
