I was just able to pick up a mallory dual point dist off of ebay. Was suppossedly rebuilt ready to go. It was mislabled saying it was for all Buick 6 cylinders. I saw the model number and realized it was for the straight 8's. Can wait to get it on the the motor.

Wow!!! Great find. Is that a tach drive plugged in the side?

Actually the Distributor I commandeered didn't have a tach drive on it. It was rebuilt years ago and sat on a shelf. Every once in a while you'll find em.
