Hey everybody,
Yesterday I spoke to a gentlemen at Brake Tech Solutions (704-509-9210) and he can build a disc brake set-up for any car, bolt up even!! No bending tie rod ends or any extra ciricular modifications, Just send in your spindles. He can also set you up with a new master/booster combo with brackets as well. After completion he'll send them back with a list of parts that you can pick up at the local parts store if you ever need to replace something (bearings, rotors etc.). The price is a little steep @ $895 for just the disc set-up on my '49 special or $1295 w/ a underfloor master/booster combo with brackets. But I believe it's worth it if your building a daily driver or nice show piece thats not a trailer queen. It's a nice discount with ol' insurance company too!! (I checked already) I'll be placing my order in about a month and I'll let you all know how it goes.
