So I look in the manual for a 1955 Buick Special and I'm thinking ok this will explain how to do a rebuild on the carb. :confused: Step 1: Remove carburetor from engine. I should mention that I am a first timer so I want to know the best way to go about it. Any helpful hints would be appreciated.

Most times there is a Diagram, Parts list and assembly instructions that conveniently are included with the rebuild kit.

You should also consult your service manual.

Read the instructions carefully, several time to get familar I would also make a few copys in case they get damaged, or for future references, a check list and one to make notes on.

Also take your time disassembling, remember you have to put it back together also.
