I found a website that has brake conversion kits but for 50's chevy,fords and plymouth but it doesn't show buick. Does any one know if they will fit a 52 special? :shield:

I was told that most manufacturers kits will not fit the buicks pre 56 because of the link pin front spindles. I did find a company called www.braketechsolutions.com but was quoted a $1300 price tag and that did not include the shipping of original spindles to them for the "custom fabrication" of the caliper brackets. If you find anything a little less damageing on the pocket please let me know! Mike :beers: heidigirl 11-11-2005, 01:10 PM you have a king pin front end, right? i installed classic performance products caliper mounting bracket kit for the 47-54 chev pickup to a 56 olds. study their tech article, especially the photo showing the spindle and backing plate bolt pattern. i would be very much surprised if you could not make this work for you. |
