Anyone done a Frenching job on the headlights for a 1955 Buick Special?

I am interested when I redo the body this winter in trying it out and was wondering if anyoen had tried it out or had any experience with frenching....ley me know

It was easy on my 50 special.

1. removed the rings (bezels)
2. removed the bucket
3. cut of the top and bottom parts of the bucket where the bezel mounts.
4. put 3' 1/4-20 machine screws through the original holes to mount the buckets from inside the fender.
5. mounted the headlight back in their original place using the parts I cut off the buckets and then welded and bondo'd them in place.

we bought the kit from hagans and it was a pretty simple job and they look sweet....www.haganauto.com :thumbsup:
