"Daisy" is in the carby shop at the moment and I was wondering what the additional holes (other than the carby lugs) in the mainfold underneath the carby might be.The gasket covers these two holes, and there is no matching holes on the base of the carby. It (gasket) also has a small circular burn mark where the holes are.
What might they be for ?? Do they go anywhere ??

Heat from the exhaust to warm the carb in cold weather?

I cant see how there would be a flow of hot air if the hole dosent go anywhere. If its a dead end (as it is, not going any further that the underside of the carby) it cant work as a heat source surly.. ?? ..
