not exactly an Ebay purchase, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience buying from Walter Miller's Autolit.com? I ordered what was supposed to be a "mint" condition owners manual complete with tag, cleaning sheet, even in the original vinyl envelope. What I received was a dirty used manual alone. While they have agreed to accept the return, I was left wondering.....what should I expect when ordering a "mint" 45 year old manual?
What does good look like?
any advice or feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Brian

If it was dirty and used, it should have been described that way. If it was described as mint, it should look like it has hardly ever, if ever been opened.

I personally don't care to pay any extra for "mint", because then I don't feel so guilty when I happen to use my unwashed hands on it.

Just wanted to update on this. First email I got back from their cust service was fairly matter of fact "if you don't like it return it" So I did. About a week later, I got another email...totally different attitude. This one was very apologetic, said they were refunding my money and to keep the manual!!!
(too bad I had already returned it and purchased another on Ebay.)
so....all in all a decent experience with the second email.
