Do any of you guys use a snipe? If so do you use one that doesn't have fees?

I was using one from Telience.com, but it seems to have a problem right now and I am not getting any response from them. It was only 10.00, but I liked it:(

I was just looking around and found one called "Buyer Tools Reminder" (http://www.download.com/Buyertools-Reminder/3000-6905_4-10413037.html?tag=lst-0-1) that doesn't look too bad. There is also one called "Just Snipe" (http://www.justsnipe.com/index.asp?ref=gg05&ref2=adw), but has a "free" limit of 5 bids per week. That is more than enough for me, but...

Bidnapper (http://www.bidnapper.com/prices.php3) looks pretty good for a higher end sniper. The nice thing is their price list allows you to pay for only winning bids, and if you go for the 25 bid option, you pay 36.95 which seems reasonable, and would probably last me a year or more!

Any thoughts?

A snipe is a program that tunes into ebay and watches a bid for you. Even if you are at work, you can bid on an item at the last minute saving you big bucks!

You take the item you wish to bid on, enter it into the program with your highest bid, then in the last few second of the auction, it logs in and places your bid. That way, noone know if they have you for competition and they don't have time to reconsider their highest bid. If their bid is still higher than yours, or if someone else is sniping with a higher bid, you will still loose...:(

It works well when you are bidding against inexperienced bidders that don't place a high bid.

www.auctionsniper.com is a really good one. One reason to snipe is that a lot of folks will search by bidder for the same stuff you are interested in. So I usually don't bid early on the auctions I want.
