i recently bought a 1996 Riv.(3800 s/c) and i have been looking for performance parts. so far i havent had any luck... and i know this car would smoke if i could just get some help finding some performance gear. specifically i would like to find mod chips, filter housing and/or intake, steering and suspension kits/parts, a better s/c, aluminum valve covers (instead of that plastic), i heard something about changing out the pulleys???, a good tranny cooler (not auto zone you know) any other engine upgrades (turbo couldn't hurt if i could find one or a faq on one to see about stability/reliability)and body parts (ground effects, etc. i've found some but nothing really eye catching). that said, this will be an ongoing project so i will be buying as i go (not a billionaire yet). well, i appreciate any help making this good looking granny car into a "what the hell, did he just disappear?" graemlins/shield.gif

thanks,
Reid

go to superchips.com for an ECU programmer.
as for headers, try www.clearimageautomotive.com. (http://www.clearimageautomotive.com.)
i've heard their headers are pretty good, however, they might not make a set for FWD.
as for the intake side, don't mess with the supercharger, and don't even think about a turbo - your engine is specifically designed for a supercharger.
what you can do however is get an underdrive pulley set for your car, and find a smaller pulley for the supercharger.
you can also check out flowmaster, or borla exhaust to see if they have a cat-back exhaust system for your car.
one thing you will have to be careful of is your transmission, as it's designed for applications with around 230hp or less. if you beat the crap outta your car with all these modifications, you'll probably blow it sky high.

good luck

Ben
