My first concern would be if the bolt pattern on the transmission, is it a 350 turbo, will accept the older buick engine. Ed Raner 01-28-2005, 07:43 PM From 1967 forward all Buicks, Pontiacs, and Oldsmobiles used the same (BOP) transmissions. The 403 is an oldsmobile engine. It was used in a lot of Pontiac Trans Ams of the era. It's actually a very large small bloce. Both the TH350 and the TH400 will bolt up, the difference is how much torque they can handle. Buickman225 01-30-2005, 06:53 PM I know the trans will bolt up I am worried about the motor mounts and the exhaust A430Searching 03-30-2005, 08:20 PM iF YOU DECIDE NOT TO USE THE 430, LET ME KNOW! 727-846-1193 jJason |
