If I'm not mistaken the 403 is actually an oldsmobile motor that was offered in the car. My first concern would be if the bolt pattern on the transmission, is it a 350 turbo, will accept the older buick engine.

From 1967 forward all Buicks, Pontiacs, and Oldsmobiles used the same (BOP) transmissions. The 403 is an oldsmobile engine. It was used in a lot of Pontiac Trans Ams of the era. It's actually a very large small bloce. Both the TH350 and the TH400 will bolt up, the difference is how much torque they can handle.

I know the trans will bolt up I am worried about the motor mounts and the exhaust
