I'm a newbie and I have a problem. I seem to have fallen in love with 1952 Buicks. I'm not sure why or what to do about it, except maybe buy one and get to work on it. I've worked on cars a bit, older Volkswagens mostly. I'd like a daily (more like weekly)driver. Any advice?
Buy one and get to work on it!!! smile.gif

graemlins/wavey.gif Hey Bebop,
Yeah, Everyone thinks I'm nuts except my Brother.
Even Christmas Eve on the way home with My Wife and Her Sister in the car I passed a Used Car Lot and I just cought a glimpse of Something Very Interesting out of the corner of my eye. ;)
It's after midnight and I banged a hughey and went back to the lot with the Girls Yapping at Me and sure enough in the back was a beautiful Midnight Blue with Buckskin interior'71 Boat-tail Riviera G/S for sale for $6,250.00. :D graemlins/thumbsup.gif Even though it was pitch black I could tell the car has been well cared for and a lot of work has been done to it.
A Pretty Nice ride for the money. And the Big Brute 455 under the Hood calling me to get the key.
I'm going to have to go back in the daylight an investigate the situation a bit furthur.
I was kind of hoping Santa would drop it off in my Driveway, graemlins/hurray.gif graemlins/banana.gif but I guess He didn't get MY Wish on Time (LOL)

Well, if I stayed up 'til after midnight, I would cop a Uy and check it out too! I would like it if a '70, '71 455 would find it's way to me right about now!!! I'm about to start a 430, but I know there is an early 455 sitting in someone's back yard close to me if I only new who's!

I haven't had time to check it out.
I went by tonight, but I didn't see it outside.
It's probably stored in the garages in bad weather. snowed Yesterday. Ice today, More snow tomorrow. I wonder how may miles are on it. An add said 12 grand invested, but We all know how those dealers lie. The price was dropped from 7 grand to 6,250. Book on a 71 G/s Boat-tail #2 is 5950.

My Dad had a 52 Super, and to this day he is sorry he sold it. He did keep the 59 Electra 225 though. That is nice to see in his barn grinning at me from time to time.
