Hey Guys/Gals,
Anyone out there have a 65 Skylark laying around they want to get rid of? Drive Train Unimportant, I have my own. Hardtop or Convertible, unimportant. What is important is that it is a 65, and there be no major rot or dents and the floor be solid and the glass be good. Broken lights, except the taillight, unimportant. cracked glass so long as it's not shattered out and it's only one or two is not an issue. complete interior, is important. Small rips, tears, separated seams are to be expected. Bucket interior prefered, but not an issue. Interior/exterior color not impmortant. Suface rust/small dings, not an issue. I want to use the car as my weekend cruiser sort of daily driver, not for restoration, hence I don't want to drop a ton of money into it. I want to be able to drop my drive train into it, do a little brake work, put new tires on it, and hit the bricks. I'll worry about body work later. It's a 65 so I know I'm going to be doing mechanical work. I'm not looking to spend a small fortune, just have a 65 Skylark to tool around Columbus in.
I would prefer to find it as close to Columbus Ohio as possible. I do have access to a car trailer, and can haul it if not too far away, and if it's a rolling body, I can use a towbar. I wiil haul/tow it with the car that contains my drivetrain graemlins/beers.gif
