Lost my key for my 98 Park Ave.and the Dealer wants $35.00 for new key. Is this a fare price? Anybody know of a cheaper place then dealers? Thanks, Whiskers

The dealership needs your car to program the key, and I would imagine, if the key has been programmed once, it can't be reprogrammed to another car, since that would set the alarm off in the new car.
