if there were only 20-30 made and you got one for $650 then i would say it was a great buy, unless it is a complete disaster. please post some pictures so we can see. is it running the original engine and tranny? please give us more info.

That is a good deal, I have been quoted 5000 for a complete '50 flxible that has been sitting since 1973.
What kind of condition is it in?
If you are thinking about fixing it up, then it will be good to share notes and sources via this forum. I am about to embark on that same journey.
Personally, I have been looking for a 50 flxible for 20 years, and finally about 6 years ago, I found only one. Besides that one, there was one premier combination from Lampasas,TX that was restored and had a price tag well over anything I could ever dream of affording.
Like Chub Chub said if not a complete disaster...
In my opinion, which is probably questionable, you should be proud of your purchase!

You lucked out, unless it's totally a disaster, and even then it's a good deal. I've been looking for a '50 or '51 Flxible as well...best I've found was a '47 in a desert junkyard in crummy condition for almost $8000.
And I just gave away a '52 Roadmaster Hearse! It's going to return as a "Rat Rod".
There was 56 of them I believe

Bob,
WHAT?! GAVE AWAY?!
I didn't even know they made 'em in 1952. Was it a mess?

Only 366 Buick funeral cars/ambulances made by Flxible in 1950!
Some were roadmasters (series 70)
Some were supers, or specials (series 50)
But in total Flxible made 366 of them for Buick.
Now how many are left....
Probably no more than 20 hidden in barns across America!
