I have been told by a person with a car listed on the site that they have had 3 people say they will buy their car only to receive a bad cheque. The problem is that when the cheque bounces, it costs the seller 25.00 dollars. I guess in this world of scumbags it is neccessary to only accept confirmed payment like certified cheques, money orders, bank drafts, etc.
