Subject: Reply To Your Ad at the Buicks.net Classifieds

Hello,

Am Mr Robert from US,Delaware currently an automobile dealer here in West Africa.I do business worldwide like buying New & Used Autos for sale.I was just going though the Classified ads and i then came accross the advert concerning your ads for sale,am very much interested in purchasing. So kindly let me know the features, condition as well as the price you are willing to sell.
Kindly get back to me ASAP,
I would like you to know that currently im not in the states so i wouldnt be able to view the ads or inspect before purchase but i believe that business is based on trust so i would like you to assure me that the pet is in perfect condition.

I would like to know the least price as i would be handling the shipping my self.
I have decided to make payments with a Cashier's Check or Money Order through my client in the US who would be issuing and making it payable to you on my behalf.

Let me get a response from you soon.
Note'l am in Republic de Benin, contonu.

There are many of these crappy scams going on... i decided to go along with one from an email i recieved from a couple people with names like "Rev. Ronald Banks" and the infamous "Charles Koffi". They told me they were interested in my cars for sale. Then they told me someone owes them money and that friend will send me the car money, the shipping money and the balance that they owe the guy emailing me all in one cheque. Then out of the goodness of my own heart i was supposed to take the money that the friend owes him and send it to him via western union. The cheques they sent me looked real as ever, i recieved one from Verizon Wireless and from the Bank of America! However instead of immediately taking the money out of my bank and sending these guys the balance owing to them, i decided to wait until the cheques cleared. I recieved several emails from them along with a couple phone calls and ironically enough they even made threats of sending the FBI after me! Of course the cheques came back bouncing and i tried for the longest time to try to set up something with the police and media to bust these guys but they seemed uninterested so i kept the cheques and told the scammers to get a real job.. never heard from them again! Beware!
