I have a 87 Century with a 3.8 FI, FWD and I get an intermitent Shut down. waiting a few minits it will start again as if nothing happened or if I play with the gas peddle when i get the shutter of shut down, I can some times work it out, No engine codes. If the ignition mod Brakes down will i get the intermitant engine shut down ? new fuel pump, Ais,Throttle P S

Have you replaced the fuel filter?? In fuel injected cars ,they will raise havoc with the running. I am not sure where it is on the Century, but it was on the drivers side about half way back on my 87 GN
