I am trying to eliminate the need for a computer chip on my 82 Buick 3.0L V-6.(Dunebuggy project) I was told that I need to install a distributor from a 78-80 3.8L with mechanical advance. What should I be asking for when I start the wrecking yard search? Will the distributor from any model buick that had a 3.8L work for my application?
