View Full Version : Cracked Heads Specman 05-19-2003, 09:28 PM Both the heads on my 68 350 were cracked. I located a set from a 70 350. Any problem using them on the 68 block? Do I use the 68 or 70 rocker arm assemblys? Thanks -------------------- Jim TODD 06-01-2003, 10:05 PM Jim, the heads are the same on the 68, 69, and 70. The valve train was partially redesigned on the 70 model vs. the 68-69. The lifters, pushrods, rockers, rocker shaft are different. You should be OK using the 70 heads with all other parts from the 68. Too much mixing and matching of other parts may cause trouble. Specman 06-09-2003, 11:33 PM Todd Thanks for the info.
