I have a question, does anyone know how to tell where everything plugs in on the carb for a 4 barrel carb on a stock manifold. i know which ports are which on the carb, but the manifold leaves me a litle confused. anyone wanna help a new kid do this right? The engine is a stock 71 350 and in the intake is off a 73. the carb is a 650 cfm holley q-jet replacement with vacuum secondaries.

Unless you have smog accessories, about all you should have is the big power brake booster hole on the back of the carb should be hooked up.

Your distributor should require a "ported" vacuum. This will be a small tube on or near the front of the carb. You can identify it with a vacuum guage. At idle there will be no vacuum, and when you rise above the idle you will have vacuum.
