i was wondering if a rochester 2Gc wouldnt work well on these engines , also was wondering if anyone would know if a pair of 94 holleys would work on a factory 2 carb intake , the buick club hi po book says to go with 2 zeniths ,so you can hook to the carb base vacume tap , but the factory intake has a vacume tap , an the holleys bolt right up ? 3 bolt base ,

I ran 94s on my 37 Century back in 1950, and they worked, but not too well. The car was actually faster with the single carb. I did not know anything about jetting back then, so maybe they would have helped if I had worked onthem.

book is not a hi po book persae , it is called buick tips an tricks , just info from the buick club that they have used to keep the old iron running , this book an others can be found , by going up to top of page an clicking shop underneath the buicks net heading then go down page an click on books , an check out whats available , all i found useful was dual carb info but it has more for a person with a whole car , i just have the engine in a hotrod ,

I am a newbie as well. I recently acquired a '53 Buick Special with the 263 Straight 8. The car is currently running a 50's Edmunds twin carb intake. The carbs are Holley 94's. I know these cars aren't very quick but the setup doesn't feel right. Very sluggish. It could be running rich I haven't delved into too much. I would be interested in switching the Holley's for Zeniths. Is Ebay a good place too find rebuildable Zeniths? If so what model should I be looking for?
