My Super 1949, with all-new engine, got femenin again and started driping water and ugly notes from the waterpump. Thru my club, I sent the thing to the unic big factory in Spain (Mediterranean area) for adjust or reply. Today I received the box: Stupified, they say with the fee THAT this ain't a Buick pump, but an VOLVO MARINE DIESEL ENGINE PUMP!! (And it's original).
Any idea 'bout?
(The color? Oh, yeah! I stashed some can of original paint color from when picking up the car in France last year).

Is it possible that some Buick engines were sold in Europe and "marinized" by Volvo for boat use, and you got one of the (probably heavier duty)Volve marine pumps designed for marinizing ? British Ford Lehman diesel engines were widely imported to the US and marinized to power a number of well-known recreational and commercial boats, so maybe the opposite was done with Buick straight-eights?
