hey guys i was just wondering will a dual carb set up from the 1941-1942 Buick vehicles equipped with Compound Carburetion fit on my 1949?????? would it be woth the effort what do u guys think?

It will fit, but the exhaust will hit the motor mount. Thee dual system can be interchanged easily up through 47.

49 what? the 41 manifolds only fit the smaller blocks (Special, Super).

There were compound carb set ups available for both engines in 1941-42. The 248 and the 320 CI engines had the duals available. This was an option on the Special and was standard on everything else.
