I HAVE A 1989 RIVIERA AND THE LIGHTING ON MY
TOUCH SCREEN IS GOING OFF AND ON.
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN EASILY LOOK FOR OR
IS THIS A MAJOR PROBLEM?

Good news: It's probably just a loose ground wire.

Bad news: There are a lot of ground wires, and you'll have to take the dash/console apart to get at them.

But it's perfectly fixable if you have a bit of patience.
