Naturally, just my luck my AC blows out warm air.
It's hot as heck in the car and I refuse to drive my babies around in it until I can get it fixed.

Does my whole system need to be converted or do I just need to have someone add coolant to it? I live in New Jersey if you can recommend someone to fix it.

Unfortunately, the 1993 Skylark has R-12 in it. it would be wise to have the system converted to R-134A, for a couple of reasons. 1. A little more now will save you a fortune in recharging the system due to a leak, since it costs anywhere from $80 a pound or more, and most cars usually take about 2 to 2 1/2 pounds of refrigerant, plus 4 ounces of oil or more, depending on the vehicle. My chart isn't in front of me right now. 2. R-134A refrigerant can easily be obtained without worry of EPA fines should you have a leak that you haven't had diagnosed yet, due to the CFC's that's contained in the old R-12. Unfortunately, since you live in up around the New York area, I can't do the conversion for you. I can recommend you shop around for the best price on AC conversion, and definately, make sure they're EPA certified like myself.
