What was the stock motor in the 1964 buick lesabre convertible? the VIN is 4K4019118.
We are currently starting a restoration. any help would be appreciated. The current engine is a 455.

It had the aluminum head, aluminum intake, 11 to 1 compression, KP coded 300 CI engine. That 455 may be the better bet as the aluminum head 300 was only offered in 64. 65-67 300s had an iron head and intake, and the compression was 10.25 or lower depending on application.
