Can't get my heater to work. Blower motors works fine, just installed a new heater core, hoses, and water pump. Still no heat.

I don't think the coolant is circulating. I will try to bypass the vacuum valve in the return hose to the water pump from the heater core, but when I replaced the hoses, I checked the valve manually and it worked.

What can I do to check the vacuum to the valve? What should it be? I can't find that info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps the door that allows the hot air from the heater core isn't opening to allow hot air into the vents?
What kind of car are you working on? This could be a mechanical, or vacuum problem depending on the car.

same thing, its heater is blowing ,kinda of warm air not the air the thermostat calls for 195*,,and it seems when I drive it even a long time its the same, still very small amount of heat,,something is blocking the heat from flowing to heater core I think,,and ain't there a valve on them called heater control valve,, which is suppose to open up when water heats up to 195*,, and circulate thru it,,stumped at this point,,,
