i noticed that my upper front end bushings on my A-arms were going bad (no rubber between washers) do I need to take the whole thing apart to replace those, or just take the nut off each side, pull the old one out, push the new one in? I kind of doubt it's going to be the simple one, but who knows...oh yeah, it's a 71 skylark

Your comment, (no rubber between the washer) makes me wonder if you are actually talking about the end link bushings on the sway bar. Maybe have a look at this month's newsletter

no, it's not the sway bar bushings. It's the ones on the top of the A-arm. they are right next to the engine manifolds when you are looking at them. Right on the top of the frame where the top A-arm connects to the frame. The end bushings. 1 on each side. I already have bought them..I just was wondering if you need to unload any of the pressure of the spring, or doesn't it matter?
