Last month I wrote in about a 1966 Buick Special
Convertible (fully restored)...that my neighbor
left me in his will..The car has been sitting in
his air-conditioned garage for the past 10 years.
I pulled it out drained all the gas.. Checked all the fluids and put a new battery in it..It cranked
up on the second try.(Wow) My problem now is that
I don't have brakes...Like to have some input on
repairing them..All information would be appreciated. Al

brake parts should be readily availabe from most any part store. I had no problem at all when getting parts for my 66 special 4 door. you might want to look into getting new drums or maybe having them turned if possible and I'd double check the e-brake cables as well, mine were seized up when I got it.
