Any suggestions on how aluminum wheels can be mounted on the "bolt" drums of a '59? Should I have wheel studs pressed into the drums and are they strong enough?
Thanks

I looked in spec. pages of Dorman Catalog at a parts place. Be sure you have enough threads to go thru nut {will be chrome acorn nuts so measure carefully] Also the rear axle hub and frt hub can be larger than some aftermarter wheels requiring enlarging wheel or reducing hub size. Just be careful to have plenty of threads to hold them on. |
