The bottom came out just fine -- but how does the top come out? I want to be as gentle as possible since the fabric is pretty fragile.

You may have to get way down on the floor with your head to see them. It appears that there is a metal strap going around a 1/4" wire and that metal strap has a bolt in the middle of it. There are also two tabs tha need to be bent straight. There os one in each corner of the bottom of the seat back. If you bend the tabs so they are aiming straight forward towards the front of the car, the metal pieces that come down from the frame should come right off. When the bottom of the seat back is loose, you will need to push in with your knee in the middle of each insert (one at a time) while pushing up from the bottom of the seat back. There are three metal brackets with small hooks on them that the seat frame needs to slide off of. You will see them after the seat is out, and when you put it back in you will need to catch the seat frame back onto these hooks. Call me if you run into trouble getting the seat out. (360) 574-8070 |
