I have a 63 wildcat that belonged to my father. I am in the process of restoring it.Is there any product I could use to restore the faded carpet on the bottom of doors and on the kick panel, that do not dry hard.

Auto parts stores sell an assortment of spray dyes for this purpose...tape off/cover areas not intended to be recolored and have at it!Steve

Unfortunately, the spray dyes leave your carpet stiff and brittle. There is a water based product that will leave the carpet feeling like it is supposed to feel, and will renew the dye that is actually in the fiber itself, rather than coating the fiber with paint.
