Hello all, the pad is really bad on the dash
and so I have taken the windshield molding
off and removed all the screws including the
ones underneath on either side of the map
light. question is how do I separate the upper and lower dash so I can replace the pad? Doesn't seem to want to come off. Is
there something I'm missing? Thanks

Hello Loren.
The dash pad is glued to the metal dash. You can loosten the glue with mineral spirits or use a putty knife to scrape the dash pad off. The putty knife will likely scratch the painted surface, so repainting will be necessary if you choose this method. The mineral spirits is more time consuming, but effective and reletively safe. Feel free to email me directly if you need more help.
