I am looking at a 1966 Skylark GS with a L76 high-perf. engine that is called a "pilot car" not sold to the public. Can anyone tell me about this option?

There was a post about this car a couple of months ago on either www.buickclub.org (http://www.buickclub.org) or www.v8buick.com. (http://www.v8buick.com.)

As I recall, it was intersting, but nobody could validate the car's claim one way or the other.
