i have several engines and cylinder heads from 71-73 rivieras. can anyone tell what #'s identify the gs and stage 1 engines and cylindr heads... my car is a 72, but is looking more and more like a 71 gs. any help would be greatly appreciated.

The engine code on the stage one engine is TA. Also the valves and ports on stage one heads are bigger.

my block is stamped A 282... no fist letter... the block in my car is 732 no letters at all.... im looking below the pass. rear spark plugs... is this the right place? help!

There should be an S in the engine code if it is a Stage 1, as in TS, not TA.
