Howdy. I've got a 52 special with a shot Dynaflow in it. The good news is that I've got a lead on a brand new rebuilt dynaflow that came out of a 50 Super. Does anyone know if the two are compatable? I can't imagine that Buick would have changed the bellhousing bolt pattern or the case prior to 53, but I really don't know. Can anyone help me out. I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

The bell housing will bolt up ,but check the length as I do not remember whether they used a longer tail shaft or a longer torque tube to make up the difference in wheel base
