I have a buick bellhousing I'm planning to use with my '64 Skylark (300 V8) for an auto to 4 speed swap. The part number on the bellhousing is 9774035.

Would anyone know what this bellhousing was from?

Now, by chance would you also know the part number for the correct clutch fork ball stud?

I just received a '64 chevelle ball stud but it's about 3/8" too long (threads are the same...would it work???

Thanks in advance

According to my parts catalog the flywheel for a standard transmission is 1359407 for whatever that is worth. I did the same conversion, but got my flywheel from a junk yard off a 64.

Good luck

The Stud, Clutch Fork Ball is 3729000 for 64-66 all except 400 V-8

The 9774035 is a flywheel housing that fits intermediate-size 64-67 Buicks, standard transmission, all except 400 V8.

I believe that the ball stud you need is the same as from a camaro. Smaller cars had the shorter ball stud, larger cars had the longer one.
