i have a '64' 401 with a th400 tranny. does anyone know where to find a flex plate for it ? or are they interchangeable with other years?

thanks for any info anyone might have.

The 401 flex plate from 64-66 is the only on that I am sure will work. The 425 from those years might ,but it may need to be balanced to the 401.

Any 64-66 401 or 425 flexlpate will work for you.

If my 64 401 sells without the trans, and if the buyer doens't require the flexplate, I would sell it to you. If you want me to let you if and when this happens, send me your email address. Thanks

i just bought a 401 flex pplate yesterday from hidden valley auto parts in maracopa Az.
phone no.602-252-2122. they have alot of the old nailheads, and wedge heads.
the diameter of the flex plate is 14 inches, and the number of teeth is 166 teeth......paul : )

and if hidden vally don't have any more of thte flex plates...[you are talking about the flywheel, i hope ] happy valley will have them...800-905-8024
