Is the 350T Transmission in a 1971 buick skylark the same transmission that would go in lets say a chchhch chevelle? Same trans just different engineS?

I believe that Buick, Olds and Pontiac had one bolt pattern and Chevrolet had another, so you may not be able to mate that transmission to a Chevy engine.

the bolt pattern for buick olds and pontiac are different than the pattern chevy uses. Jeg's sells plates that allow you to bolt BOP transmissions on chevy engines or chevy transmissions to BOP engines. but I think your better off to just keep the car all buick.
