i live in new zealand and i have a 1962 electra convertable 401 v-8 could anyone tell me any info on the trans eg what type hows it works also are they still a comon car in the states or are they grtting hard to find . thanks

Unless it has been changed, your 62 should have a dynaflow with an open drive line. The open drive dynaflow was used from 61 to 63.
