I am not a mechanic and I apologize if this is the wrong place but I would like to buy a buick from this range of years but I have always bought manual transmissions. Which models and which years offer this - I favor the 62 special which I know offered a 4sp. I like others of the models but never see any manuals. Are there any others from the above years which might have offered 4 speeds??

Steve, this is the perfect place for your message. 4-speeds were available on the following models at that time: 63-64 LeSabre, 63 Invicta, 63-65 Wildcat, 62-65 Special/Skylark, and 66-67 Skylark Gran Sport.

Not sure if 3-speeds are of interest, but they were available on 63-67 LeSabre, 64-66 Wildcat, and 62-67 Special/Skylark.

These standard transmissions are scarce, especially on the larger cars.
